Who attends the longest-running aviation sustainability event?

Thanks to all of your amazing support, Aviation Carbon has grown to become a unique networking forum for aviation sustainability experts and professionals who meet with their peers, talk and learn from other industry and solutions experts, make new contacts and catch up with friends.

Here’s some of your great feedback from last year’s event:

“I have not been able to say enough good things to my management and peers about this event. This is a must attend event. I’m better educated and informed. Thank you!” – aircraft manufacturer delegate

“Fantastic workshop, very useful and engaging” – large international airline delegate

“Very interesting sessions and good food, good networking breaks” – start-up airline delegate

“Excellent event. Appreciate the focus on substance and quality. Far better than these forums that invite high level speeches written by comms folk” – OEM delegate

Why attend this year’s Aviation Carbon 2023 ?

Aviation Carbon 2023 will be of great importance to airlines, business jet and other categories of aircraft operators from around the world keen to find out the latest developments and thinking on sustainability and aviation emissions compliance.
It will be of particular interest to those working in departments responsible for policy, finance, operations, fuel, legal, regulatory, ESG and sustainability.

Many other stakeholders will also benefit from attending, including policymakers, regulators, fuel and energy companies, NGOs and carbon market professionals, consultants, researchers.

Our last event was our most popular since it first started 11 years ago. There were 415 delegates registered from 70 countries and 5 continents, with 114 individual airlines / operators and 235 other organisations represented.

75% of delegates attended for the first time, reflecting the new generation of professionals around the world keen to learn about the fast-growing importance of sustainability and emissions compliance within the aviation sector, gain knowledge from international experts and network with their peers.

A post-conference survey showed the vast majority of attendees were highly satisfied with the event as a whole and nearly all said they were keen to participate again in Aviation Carbon 2023

What’s on the agenda?

Last year we featured new sessions on – SAF (sustainable aviation fuels), sustainability-linked finance, ESG (environmental, social & governance), carbon removal technology in addition to our traditional topics of carbon emissions compliance and carbon markets.

This year will be providing the latest updates on these key topics and also, for the first time, we will add coverage of the Non-CO2 impacts of aviation on the climate, which has seen increasing interest by policymakers in tackling the issue as well as potential technical and operational measures being developed to mitigate the net warming impacts of contrails.

How much does it cost to attend?

Aviation Carbon is uniquely supported by the major international airline, business aviation, carbon market and other relevant trade associations.
