SAE Media Group Acquires The Aviation Carbon Event to Expand Sustainability Portfolio
London, UK – 14 January 2026: SAE Media Group, an affiliate of SAE International and a leading global provider of conferences and intelligence for the defence, aerospace and energy sectors, today announced its acquisition of Aviation Carbon, the specialist event platform dedicated to carbon reduction, sustainability and decarbonisation across the aviation industry.
The acquisition reinforces SAE Media Group’s and SAE International’s shared commitment to advancing the aviation sector’s transition to net zero. SAE International has been at the forefront of aviation sustainability for decades, driving global standards, research and technical collaboration across areas including sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), aircraft electrification, propulsion efficiency and environmental certification.
